Mini-Marathon
All children and young people born between 2007 and 2016 can take part. Membership of a sports club is not required.
All participants will receive a race number! All registered participants who have registered by the registration deadline will receive a personal race number with their first name. The race number distribution is located in Hall 1. 2 on the Messe Frankfurt exhibition grounds and is open at the following times:
Fridays, 12:00 to 19:00
Saturdays, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
Sunday, 07:00 to 09:30
The ceremony will take place on Sunday at 12.30 pm on the action stage of the Marathonmall, Hall 1, Level 2. The top three finishers in each age group will receive attractive prizes.
On the day of the marathon, you can hand in your clothing bag in Hall 1, Level 1 of Messe Frankfurt from 8.00 a.m. before the start. Please stick the corresponding sticker that you received when you collected your starting documents in the marked field on the starter bag.
Please note that only Mainova Frankfurt Marathon starter bags will be accepted, for other bags we offer a cloakroom for a fee (€4 per bag). Allow sufficient time for the drop-off.
Outside of Hall 1, Level 1 (e.g. start area) there is no possibility to drop off your clothes bag. After the race you can collect your clothing bag until 17:00.
The organiser accepts no liability in the area of the clothing bag drop-off and the cloakroom.

The mini marathon covers a distance of 4.2 kilometres.
Original ‘marathon finish’ in the Festhalle
After you have left the festival hall and the forum, you will reach the catering area on the open-air area ‘Agora’. There you will receive your medal and refreshments.
There is the possibility of a personalised medal engraving (name and net time) using the latest laser technology at a price of EUR 10. Please register for this after crossing the finish line from 12:00 to 17:00 with your medal in Exhibition Hall 1, Level 2 in the area where the starting documents are handed out. If you did not pre-order the engraving when you registered, you can order it on site for €10 in cash.

Each participant will receive a starter bag with gifts when they collect their race number, a medal and refreshments at the finish. On the evening of the event day, it is possible to print out an advance certificate from the results list yourself. An official certificate will be sent by post in December. There will be a special classification for schools: the top five school teams will receive attractive prize money for their schools!
We are setting up this starting block to improve the starting procedure. Please state your estimated finish time when you register.
Registrations are possible online
Registration is possible online until 19 October 2025. If starting places are still available, late registrations are possible on site in the area where the starting documents are handed out (Exhibition Hall 1, Level 2) from 24 to 26 October 2025.

The starting line-up for the mini-marathon is possible from 10:40!
Starting blocks 4 (for the elite starting block) and 5 (for the main field) of the marathon are reserved for this purpose. These are also explicitly signposted on the day of the event from 10.40 a.m. for the starting line-up of the mini marathon. Our helpers will accompany the children and young people from there to the starting line so that the start can take place smoothly at 10:55!
Timing is done with a timing transponder in the race number.
