The “German Classic” is a unique sporting challenge, inspired from the “Swedish Classic”. This classic series represents the four biggest long-distance sporting events in Germany. The Mecklenburger Seenrunde on 26th and 27th of May, 2017, the Unterbacher See Schwimmen on 27th of August, 2017, Mainova Frankfurt Marathon 30th of October, 2017 and the Ludwig Lauf on the 3rd and 4th of February, 2018 combined with each other.
Whoever completes all four sporting events within a twelve-month timespan (50km cross-country skiing, 300km cycling, 3.3 km swimming, and the 42.195 km run) will receive the highly coveted, “The German Classic” diploma and will be entered in the Hall of Fame.
