As a company with a high level of social responsibility and sustainable commitment, ASICS is also starting this year with a comprehensive initiative to significantly reduce CO2 emissions at European marathons and running events.
ASICS Europe has entered into a partnership with I:CO, a company specialising in recycling, to ensure its long-term sustainable commitment. The aim is to implement a programme that enables the recycling and reuse of its products at eight marathons in Europe, such as the Mainova Frankfurt Marathon. As part of the programme, ASICS calls on all runners to return their used, discarded sports equipment to the event expos.
As a thank-you for their sustained commitment, the participants receive a 10% discount on their purchase at the ASICS expo booth.
