Road closures

A marathon with 25.000 runners is a huge event which can’t be done without closing roads and diverting traffic on race day. We apologize for any inconveniences you might encounter.
For you to find your way around we have prepared a map with all closed roads and a time table: DOWNLOADS

Traffic

To make the disruptions manageable and plannable, we provide a special map showing the closed roads and the expected closure times in our DOWNLOADS.

We also provide residents with more detailed information for each neighbourhood here.

If you have any questions on the day of the event, please call the residents’ hotline: 069 / 3700 468 60
This citizens’ hotline will be open on the weekend of the event on Saturdays from 13:00 to 18:00 and on Sundays from 07:30 to 16:30.

Public transport

Unfortunately, it is not possible to avoid a major impact on local public transport in Frankfurt am Main.

Many tram and bus lines are affected by restrictions.

You can find an overview in the information provided by traffiQ and RMV (from mid-October).

Underground and suburban trains will run without disruptions and in some cases offer more journeys and longer trains.

Information about diversion measures, closures and public transport connections can be obtained via the traffiQ hotline.
