Gold, Silver and Bronze for loyal members

The Frankfurt Marathon Club was founded in 2006 on the occasion of the 25th Frankfurt Marathon. It’s a recognition for runners who finished at least ten times in Frankfurt. There is no membership-fee, all members get a poloshirt with their personal race number as well as a few other incentives on the race weekend.

Last year we welcomed 70 new members to our club. This means that before this year’s Frankfurt Marathon on October 30th 2016 membership has grown to 750 athletes. In order to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Frankfurt Maratho Club we are upping our game with a special treat. We are offering a poloshirt with a new embroidery. If you finished 20 times in Frankfurt your eternal race number will be embroidered in bronze, 25 finishswill get you one in silver and gold is reserved for those of you who actually crossed the finishline in Frankfurt 30 times. Nine runners will be proud recipients of such a shirt. Among them the still active Kalli Flach, Horst Jendrasch, Peter Schmit, Wolfgang Vogel (each 33), Helmut Lösche and Klaus Vogelmann (both 31) as well as Bernhard Schacke (32), Eugen Föt (31) and Rainer Zickler (30). Sissi Antoni is the woman who finished most times in Frankfurt (26).

The current list of members with the number of participations can be seen here.
