Mainova Frankfurt Marathon and the insurance corporation agree on a partnership until 2019. The sponsoring strategy with the running classic on the Main “is the consistent continuation of our course”.
The Mainova Frankfurt Marathon continues with their new VIP partner in its 36th edition on the 29th of October 2017. The insurance corporation Gernerali Deutschland AG enters this year and the name giving sponsor for this year’s relay marathon. The collaboration is contracted until 2019.
The team competition in part of the running classic on the Main is love by many and most of the time sold out. By the Generali relay marathon, anyone can get a taste of the original marathon course for those that do not wish to run the whole 42,195-kilometer distance. This year, there will be about 2000 relay teams registered, built out of 4-man teams, that want to take on fast and exuberant course of the Mainova Frankfurt Marathon.
Run director Jo Schindler says, “We are happy to have Generali Deutschland AG involved in our relay marathon. Generali improves with the prevention through smart insurance products the life quality of their customers and the Mainova Frankfurt Marathon offers almost like no other sporting event a wide variety of offers for kids to seasoned athletes, from beginners to professional. Generali in Germany, is the second biggest first insurance corporation on the German market and is new to the sport sponsoring and is vastly improving their involvement in the running sport.

The course of the Generali Relay Marathon is divided among the four runners in 12.9 km/6.1 km/9.5 km/ and a 13.5 km distances. Even the participants of the Generali Relay Marathon get to experience the ambient exuberant atmosphere of the Frankfurter Festhalle.
