For children born between 2015-2019.
The course of the Shock-Headed Peter Run is 420m long and leads from the start at the Forum north past the Festhalle and via the Osttor into the Festhalle and to the original finish of the Mainova Frankfurt Marathon. The course is completely gridded. All starting groups will be accompanied by the official ambassadors of the Mainova Frankfurt Marathon at the front and back of the participant field.
The finish line is located in the Festhalle (original marathon finish line). After crossing the finish line, the children will be directed to the building „Forum“, which is located on the west side of the Festhalle. There the children enter a meeting point area where they are met by their parents. There are four meeting points, each marked with a color and an animal symbol: red = crab, blue = dolphin, yellow = bee and green = crocodile. Parents are asked to arrange a meeting point with their children before the start and to provide their children with a ribbon in the corresponding color. The meeting point ribbons will be available at the T-shirt pick-up in the south foyer (Südfoyer) of the Festhalle. Our volunteers in the meeting point area assist the children to find the agreed meeting point according to their ribbons.
For the first 1,200 children on site, the “Shock-Headed Peter Run running shirt” will be available on 26.10.2024 from 10:00 a.m. in the south foyer (Südfoyer) of the Festhalle at the T-shirt pick-up. Ribbons for the meeting points at the finish can also be selected at the T-shirt pick-up, see “Meeting points finish”. After crossing the finish line, all children will receive a certificate. Certificates and drinks will also be handed out in the south foyer (Südfoyer) of the Festhalle.
