How to get to the Mainova Frankfurt Marathon

A marathon with 27.000 runners is a huge event which can’t be done without closing roads and diverting traffic on race day. We apologize for any inconveniences you might encounter.
For you to find your way around we have prepared a map with all closed roads and a time table. You can view it here (PDF).

For all registered runners their race number is their ticket for public transport on Sunday (applies to public transport within the RMV area). For those coming by car please use the Messe car park and take the free shuttle from there.

In order to make traveling to the Frankfurt Marathon as environmentally friendly as possible we are co-operating with CO2OL, a green mobility platform for reducing the carbon footprint of travel. Get more information right here.

Local trains (S-Bahn) and subways (U-Bahn) will run more frequently than usual and offer longer trains. Many street cars and busses, however, run on a reduced schedule. There are some problems with S3, S4 and S5 (poster (pdf) and online information (pdf)). An overview can be found at RMV.
