Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund: Charity-Partner 2017

The Mainova Frankfurt Marathon joins together with its new charity partner in its 36th edition. On the 29th of October can the participants in the framework of the running classics take part in the project “the wish wagon- the last wish wagon” that is supported by the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bundes (ASB).
Participants, that run though the donation door at the Frankfurt Hauptwache during the marathon donate one time 4 euros for the cause. With the “wish wagon”, the ASB helps the sickest people in the state of Hesse and their loved ones create unforgettable memories together. When the life is on its last leg, many wishes that haven’t been reached lie in the foreground.
And yet, the sickest of people are no longer in condition, to do more, to catch up on those things that they missed out on, this is the opportunity for those people to have one more times to see their loved ones again and leave life behind in peace. This is what the ASB does with its charity, they travel with their patients to the place they yearn to see. This is free of cost for these patients, “the wish wagon”, lives from the volunteer workers and is financed through your donations.
On the 29th of October, the ASB along with its volunteer helpers are there for the runners at the general nutrition station when you cross the finish line.
